SolidStayt is Brett Stayt, a freelance location sound recordist and drone pilot. He has been working professionally as a sound recordist since 2008 and has been flying drones commercially since 2016, using DJI and FPV style drones. Brett is pro-active, yet easy going with vast experience in documentary, factual, TVC, travel, reality, tourism, natural history and ENG.

Solid Stayt has recently received OONP approval from CASA, which means operating drones near people at a close proximity is now possible. Under the right circumstances, we can fly a drone up to 1 metre from a participant, which opens the door to new shots and coverage that has been unobtainable until now.

A 4WD crew car is available for accessing remote/off road areas within WA, and at a moment's notice, SolidStayt can be packed into flight cases and ready to travel across Australia and Worldwide.
 

Brett is available to work as a sound recordist or a drone operator. Or covering both roles on certain projects. CASA certified, ReOC holder and PL Insurance of $20 million.
